Nurse Attorney In Favor Of Office of National Nurse

Ruth Amos, a nurse attorney from San Diego, California, who is also a member of The American Association of Nurse Attorneys, offers this opinion in support of establishing an Office of the National Nurse.

"I believe that the appointment of a National Nurse has great potential to raise the level of public health awareness as well as elevate the profession of nursing. These two goals are at the forefront of what I fight for every day as a Registered Nurse and an attorney. All nurses, regardless of political affiliation can benefit from this campaign. We need to be at the table of healthcare discussion and present a united effort to protect the health of every American."
