Organizations Going Above and Beyond to Support H.R. 379 and S. 1205

Thank you to the many national and state based affiliates who are going above and beyond sending a letter of support to the NNNO. The American Federation of Teachers hosted a successful Congressional Briefing on Capitol Hill in February; the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates mobilized a phone call campaign to U.S. Representatives and Senators; the West Virginia Nurses Association plans to publish a story this Fall about the National Nurse Act in their quarterly newsletter; the Greater Passaic Valley Public Health Nurses Association has been successful in convincing many Representatives within the New Jersey Congressional delegation to co-sponsor H.R. 379; and plans are underway with the Case Management Society of America to advocate jointly on Capitol Hill next month.

All of these efforts are tremendously appreciated and it is because of these actions that momentum for The National Nurse Act of 2015 (H.R. 379) and (S. 1205) continues to grow.
